Gugus Penjaminan Mutu (GPM) of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Jember is a quality assurance unit at the faculty level that has duties and responsibilities in improving the quality and finalizing the quality assurance structure of higher education in a planned and sustainable manner through the establishment, implementation, evaluation, control, and improvement of higher education standards in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember.
Together with Unit Penjaminan Mutu (UPM) at Study Program level, GPM and UPM function to coordinate, implement, evaluate, and report on all quality assurance activities at the study program and faculty level on an ongoing basis. The preparation of the GPM and UPM work programs is dynamic and adaptive to any changes that occur both internally and externally in the higher education system. GPM and UPM FMIPA, University of Jember were formed based on the Decree of Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember Number 69/UN25.1.9/TU/2022 about Pengangkatan Kembali Personil Gugus Penjaminan Mutu Dan Unit Penjaminan Mutu Program Studi Pada Fakultas Matematika Dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Jember 2022.
