Lecturers and Education Personnel of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Jember (UNEJ) Auditorium received awards at the peak night of UNEJ’s 61st Anniversary at the University of Jember Auditorium (5/1). Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., won two awards at once: first place in the 2025 International Paper Collaboration and third place in the Highest Scopus Citations as of November 25, 2025. Lecturer of the Biology Department, Dr. rer.nat. Fuad Bahrul Ulum, S.Si., M.Sc., won second place in the 2025 Science and Technology Colloquium. From the educational staff, Yoyok Yulianto, a Mathematics Laboratory Technician from FMIPA, won third place in the 2025 Education Personnel with Integrity category. In the sports competition category, the FMIPA futsal team won second place in the UNEJ Anniversary Fun Futsal competition.
That evening was the culmination of a series of activities commemorating UNEJ’s 61st anniversary. The awarding of the title of UNEJ’s Inspirational Alumni of 2025 to Yahya Taufik, who currently serves as President Director of PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk. There were performances by the band The Tendos, a performance by Soul Energy Band, and a captivating performance by Prigel Pangayu Anjarwening, a talented young singer from Kediri. The launch of UNEJ’s signature dance, “Kidung Mangesti Dharma,” was also held, which will be a key feature of future official events at UNEJ. Keluarga Alumni Universitas Jember (KAUJE) also symbolically awarded scholarships and launched the KAUJE Digital app.
UNEJ Rector, Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng., IPM., ASEAN Eng., in his remarks, stated that the culmination of this 61st anniversary celebration was a celebration of the achievements, harmony, synergy, and pride of the University of Jember family united on one stage. “The University of Jember is a vibrant ecosystem, excelling in its work, strong in synergy, and making real contributions to strengthening academic excellence, expanding collaboration, and delivering greater impact on society, the nation, and the world,” he said. A video depicting the founding history of the University of Jember was also shown that evening.
The highlight of UNEJ’s 61st Anniversary presented several awards, including the Best Synergy Partner Award and the Best Partner Bank Award. In addition, internal awards were presented to the academic community in the categories of Outstanding Lecturer Award, Outstanding Staff Award, Outstanding Student Award, Outstanding Study Program Performance Award, and Best Work Unit Award. Winners of Anniversary competitions such as the Stand Up Keris Komedimas Award, the Village Award, Grant Achievement Award, Highest Citation Researcher Award, and the International Collaboration Award were also announced.
