FMIPA UNEJ Team Participates in TAJEMTRA 2025: Echoing FMIPA’s Creativity, Innovation, and Achievement

TAJEMTRA 2025 was held again, an annual traditional event organized by the Jember Regency Government, and has become a regular agenda for the UNEJ FMIPA team to participate in TAJEMTRA. Consisting of FMIPA educational staff, the team took part in a 30-kilometer walking activity from Tanggul to Jember (23/8). This year, they again unfurled the banner of the UNEJ FMIPA slogan “Create, Innovate and Achieve,” wanting to echo the UNEJ FMIPA slogan to the outside community. “Besides exercising, the UNEJ FMIPA team has a vision to echo the UNEJ FMIPA to the Jember community, a warehouse of young scientist candidates,” said Verry, the UNEJ FMIPA team coordinator. Support also came from the leadership of UNEJ FMIPA, the Dean and all Vice Dean in FMIPA. In addition to funds, moral support was also provided by accompanying the UNEJ FMIPA team to depart.

Starting from the embankment and finishing at Jember Square, the FMIPA UNEJ team passed through various beautiful rural landscapes. Along the route, local residents were also enthusiastic in providing support by providing drinking water and cheering. “Not only FMIPA, there are several teams from faculties at UNEJ who also regularly take part in TAJEMTRA, we met several times and we are very happy to be able to participate again,” continued Verry. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. advised the FMIPA team to follow in an orderly manner and enliven TAJEMTRA 2025 and convey the message to the wider community through the FMIPA UNEJ slogan “Create, Innovate, and Achieve.” “We, the leaders of FMIPA, always support the TAJEMTRA team, to participate and echo the spirit to the people of Jember and also get to know FMIPA UNEJ better,” said Prof. Dafik. PKKMB FMIPA UNEJ 2025: Create, Innovate, Achieve 3.5 Ranks 4

The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Jember, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., invited the new students of 2025 to shout the slogan at the beginning of their inauguration speech. (9/8) “Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Creating, Innovating, Achieving!!!,” said the Dean, followed by all participants in the ceremony. He said the slogan also served as a prayer that all new students would ultimately become a generation imbued with creativity, innovation, and achieve. “You all come as FMIPA students from various places, with varying levels of ability. There’s no need to feel inferior. With this slogan, let’s enthusiastically move forward together to make it happen,” he continued. The Dean also encouraged the new students to start implementing the slogan to become FMIPA graduates who achieve 3.5 to the power of 4.

This aligns with the theme of the 2025 UNEJ PKKMB, “Advancing with Impact Towards a Golden Generation,” which aligns with UNEJ’s vision to produce graduates who excel, have character, and are globally competitive. Prof. Dafik stated that the first 3.5 is to ensure FMIPA students can successfully pass their thesis exams within 3.5 years. The second is to achieve a GPA of 3.5 to compete with competitors in the job market. “The next 3.5 is the 3.5-month waiting period for FMIPA graduates to find employment, and the final 3.5 million is the first salary FMIPA graduates receive,” hoped the Dean, who was accompanied by the Vice Deans, Heads of Department Secretaries, Study Program Coordinators, Heads of Laboratories, Heads of General Affairs, and the Deputy Coordinators. FMIPA Moving Healthy: Progressive Creativity, Quality Innovation, Continuous Achievement

FMIPA UNEJ held morning exercise as part of the FMIPA Bergerak Sehat agenda (2/14). Attended by all the Morning Harmoni committees and FMIPA residents. Interestingly, attractive door prizes were provided for all participants. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Prof. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. in his speech said that health, togetherness, and happiness are the initial foundations in doing activities. “Alhamdulillah, we FMIPA residents can gather happily through this event so that we can carry out routines on campus,” he said. It was said that FMIPA Bergerak Sehat continues to be echoed so that health is maintained, togetherness is established with joint exercise, and also exercising together every week, especially on Fridays

“With FMIPA Bergerak Sehat, we realize the slogan into a creation that moves forward, quality innovation, and sustainable achievement,” he said. As an appreciation for hard work and working together, the FMIPA Deanate gave door prizes to all the committees who participated in the morning exercise event. Prof. Dafik hopes that togetherness will continue to maintain the unity of the FMIPA residents. “Hopefully this kind of agenda can continue; whether there is a door prize or not, this event is crowded; maybe it could be because there is a prize that is awaited,” he joked.
