Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) FMIPA UNEJ together with Ethoz Food held a Dessert Demo for the FMIPA academic community (8/7). Held in the Physics Department Auditorium, the FMIPA community had the opportunity to watch a dessert-making demonstration. Ethoz Food brought in two Chefs at once, Chef Naufal and Chef Roby, sharing their knowledge of making desserts made from agar-agar and jelly powder. Three dessert dishes were demonstrated and directly practiced by representatives from DWP FMIPA. Ethoz Food also introduced its products that have been verified by the POM Agency and are of course Halal. Of course, what’s interesting is that participants can taste the results of the demonstration, get a goodie bag, and a door prize.
Previously, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. officially opened the Dessert Demo event initiated by the DWP FMIPA UNEJ. In his remarks, the Dean said that this cooking demo was a means of sharing recipes and also fostering camaraderie between the academic community and DWP FMIPA. “In Islamic teachings, the Al-Maidah letter mentions delicious dishes, so this event is appropriate so that all participants can gain new knowledge, especially about desserts,” he said. During the event, BSI Bank also introduced gold savings as an alternative future savings for FMIPA UNEJ residents. Continue reading
