Signing of the 2026 Performance Agreement at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember

“The target achievement of the KPI for each study program is outlined in the 2026 performance agreement at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as well as the achievements in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education,” stated the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., at the signing of the 2026 performance agreement (February 6). The performance agreement, which aims to achieve university targets, is a collective effort that requires collaborative leadership. “The 2026 performance agreement elaborates four strategic targets: talent, research and innovation development, dedicated contribution, and governance with integrity, outlined in 11 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). I quoted these during the performance agreement signing between the Heads of Work Units and the Rector,” explained Prof. Dafik.

The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNEJ, invited the leaders of the Faculty to carefully review the contents of the attachment to the work agreement, which is a derivative of the work agreement between the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the Rector of the University of Jember. “Please carefully review the contents of the 2026 performance agreement attachment so that it can be implemented in each study program and laboratory within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at UNEJ,” continued Prof. Dafik. The Dean also hopes that the achievements of the 2026 performance agreement will also improve the achievement of the FMIPA UNEJ’s KPIs. The 2026 performance agreement was signed by the Dean, the Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, the Heads of Laboratories within FMIPA UNEJ, and the Head of the General Affairs Division of FMIPA.

Previously, an initial discussion of the 2026 performance agreement attachment was held by the Vice Deans I and II of FMIPA UNEJ. Each target was discussed and agreed upon, with the hope that implementation would align with the dean’s office, study programs, and laboratories within FMIPA. “We discussed the targets in the 2026 performance agreement so that the targets achieved can be met in accordance with the performance targets of the Dean of FMIPA and the Rector of Jember University,” said Vice Dean I of FMIPA, Prof. Hari. Meanwhile, Vice Dean II of FMIPA, Dr. Esti Utarti reminded that the performance agreement also serves as a reference in the preparation of UNEJ’s 2026 SKP.

“The performance agreement serves as a reference in the preparation of UNEJ’s 2026 SKP plan. The contents of the attachments are expected to ensure implementation and assignments are evenly distributed among subordinates, including lecturers in study programs and educational staff, so that all targets can be achieved in accordance with the Decree of the Dean and the UNEJ Rector,” stated Vice Dean II Dr. Esti. At the end of the event, the 2026 performance agreement was symbolically signed between the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UNEJ and the vice deans, coordinators of undergraduate and master’s study programs, heads of laboratories within the Faculty, and the Head of the General Affairs Division of the Faculty.
