Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period IX, Academic Year 2024/2025

FMIPA UNEJ held the 77th Postgraduate (S2) and 109th Undergraduate Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period IX, Academic Year 2024/2025 (16/5). Held in the Auditorium of the Entrepreneurship Building, University of Jember. In the graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. conveyed a message to foster creativity independently. “After graduating tomorrow, you will be faced with the challenge of working, apart from working in government or the private sector, currently remote workers are in demand, of course with high creativity,” he said. It was also said that undergraduate graduates enter level 6 according to KKNI and to move up a level, additional education is needed.

To level 7 requires certification and to go higher requires further study, FMIPA has four master’s study programs available. Prof. Dafik said that becoming a bachelor is not the end, to be successful requires knowledge and meeting good colleagues. “When trying to work independently, knowledge and a good network of colleagues are needed so that you can achieve fortune and success in the future,” he said. With the provisions above, the judiciary is no longer dependent on employment from the government or private sector, but can be independent. “The era of Decentralized finance with its blockchain technology, I hope you can participate with the provision of knowledge from FMIPA UNEJ,” he concluded. FMIPA UNEJ held the 76th Postgraduate (S2) and 108th Undergraduate Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period VIII, Academic Year 2024/2025 (16/4). Held in the Auditorium of the Entrepreneurship Building, University of Jember. In the graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., congratulated the graduates on graduating and preparing to enter the real world, namely the world of work. “Congratulations, you have graduated and are now ready to enter society through the world of work or continue your studies,” said Prof. Dafik. Current job prospects include becoming teachers; it is said that the world of Indonesian education still needs many educators, and opportunities for FMIPA alumni can follow that with the PPG program.

Graduation is also about trying all fields of work because FMIPA alumni have the provisions. There are many job vacancies available through the internet pages that are widely spread. “You can start hunting for work through job vacancies on the internet; there are many opportunities spread across various fields and places,” he continued. Not only around the Jember area, Prof. Dafik also challenged the graduates to spread their wings to get job opportunities. It was also conveyed that for those who want to continue their studies, the master’s program at FMIPA has accommodated four fields of undergraduate alumni. At the end of his speech, the dean advised the graduates to be able to contribute after achieving their dreams. “Return to the alma mater to contribute in the form of sharing experiences and filling in tracer studies for alumni,” he concluded. Natasya Emi Wijayati from Physics Achieves Highest GPA and Graduates Fastest at 103rd FMIPA UNEJ Graduation

FMIPA UNEJ held the 103rd Undergraduate Graduation (S1) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, for the 3rd period of the 2024/2025 academic year (13/9). Taking place on the 3rd floor of the Entrepreneurship Building, the University of Jember was attended by 16 prospective graduates. In his graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., invited the graduates to immediately prepare themselves after graduation tomorrow. “After the euphoria of graduation tomorrow, immediately prepare to face the future with the knowledge gained during their studies at FMIPA, University of Jember,” he began. The Dean believes that with the knowledge from FMIPA lecturers, graduates will be able to solve problems in the real world. When in college it ends in a simulation, but when in society they must be able to provide problem solving in all fields.

“I have confidence that FMIPA graduates can optimize their college education if they encounter real problems in their future lives,” he continued. Prof. Dafik also said that there are many opportunities that FMIPA graduates can achieve when they enter society in various fields. Graduates are also expected to have competitiveness and fighting spirit so that FMIPA is increasingly heard inside and outside the UNEJ campus. In this graduation, Natasya Emi Wijayati from the Physics Department achieved the highest GPA of 3.85 and became the fastest graduate with a study period of 3 years, 8 months, and 28 days. 102nd Graduation Ceremony of FMIPA UNEJ Undergraduate Program Period 2 Academic Year 2024/2025

FMIPA UNEJ held the 102nd Undergraduate (S1) Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period 2, Academic Year 2024/2025 (28/8). Different from before, this period’s graduation was held at the Entrepreneurship Building, University of Jember. In his graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., invited the graduates to commemorate the moment of independence by continuing the struggle through the fields that they will pursue after graduation. “Make the momentum of independence an example to continue your ideals through various fields with a fighting spirit to change your fate,” he said. The Dean advised that with the weapons in your pocket now, you can be effective and accurate in producing a better life.

It is said that a graduate with KKNI level 6 is already sufficient provision to compete in the world job market. “The world of work, such as industry and teachers to those who will continue their studies, now is the time to hurry because to fill independence there is long-term education, namely lifelong learning,” he continued. The Dean, together with the Vice Dean and the Senate of FMIPA UNEJ, congratulated and succeeded the 48 judges as well as the educators who led the judges to achieve their bachelor’s degrees. “Create yourself as someone who is independent with the provision of KKNI level 6 from FMIPA and do not depend on others, especially parents,” he concluded. Signing of Perjanjian Kinerja 2024 at FMIPA University of Jember

“The target for achieving the IKU for each study program is contained in the performance agreement at FMIPA, as well as the achievement of implementing the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi,” said Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., at the signing of the 2024 performance (29/2). Performance agreements are made to realize government performance that is effective, transparent, accountable, and results-oriented. The 2024 performance agreement signing ceremony was carried out by the Dean with the Head of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Study Programs as well as the Head of the Laboratory at the FMIPA University of Jember.

Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, accompanied by Vice Deans I, II, and III, signed a Perjanjian Kinerja in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the FMIPA UNEJ dean building. The signing of the integrity pact regarding the Zona Integritas-Wilayah Bebas Korupsi (ZI-WBK) was also conveyed during the signing of the Perjanjian Kinerja with the Rector of the University of Jember in 2024 some time ago. “By signing an integrity pact for all work unit leaders, University of Jember has launched the development of ZI-WBK to uphold good governance, combined with the signing of a Perjanjian Kinerja to produce maximum service quality,” he said.

The 3rd Yudisium 2015/2016

The 3rd Yudisium 2015/2016 on February 10, 2016, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember little bit different because the place is used as the yudisium is the “Ruang Serba Guna” Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember. The theme this time is The 3rd Yudisium 2015/2016: XV Magister Program (S2) and XLVI Bachelor Program  (S1) Period III Academic Year 2015/2016.

The 3rd Yudisium 2015/2016, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember graduation Prospective college graduates were 63 Candidate Degree with 14 Candidate details Bachelor of Mathematics, 25 Candidate Degree from the Department of Physics, 13 Candidates Bachelor of Chemistry Department and 11 candidates from the Department of Biology. For as much as 6 Prospective Graduate college graduates with details 3 of 3 people Master in Mathematics and of Biology Masters.
