Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. led the first morning assembly at the beginning of 2025 in the yard of the FMIPA UNEJ Dean’s Office (3/2). The morning assembly procession was slightly different from the format based on the circular from the University of Jember. The position of the leaders and participants of the morning assembly at FMIPA has also changed, now facing the front of the Dean’s office. The assembly officers have also been arranged per department and dean’s office for each month. In his message, the Dean expressed his gratitude for the implementation of the morning harmony with FMIPA as the host. “I and the leadership of FMIPA express our gratitude and appreciation to all academicians so that the morning harmony runs smoothly and successfully,” he said.
It was said that the morning harmony with a relatively short time could be held well thanks to the joint work of all academicians with a high sense of responsibility. Prof. Dafik also said that in yesterday’s morning harmony leadership meeting, they also discussed the performance allowance (tukin) for lecturers. “Lecturer allowances according to government regulations for universities with work unit and BLU status will be paid through a specified scheme,” he explained. The scheme will be adjusted for lecturers who have received remuneration or who have not, so that in the future the income gap between each regular lecturer (DS) and lecturer with additional duties (DT) will be reduced.
“With the regulated scheme, remuneration and allowances will be adjusted so that the budget issued by the government will also be adjusted,” he continued. The Dean also advised that if the rights of lecturers are fulfilled, it will also improve the performance of the lecturers. At the end of the message, the Dean of FMIPA congratulated the FMIPA study program, which successfully delivered the MBKM program so that several students carried out the MBKM Learning Activity Form (BKP). “I received a report from Vice Deans I and III that the MBKM program was running well so that students could carry out BKP this semester,” he concluded.
As is known, Jember University has set a rule that morning assembly is held on Sunday every month. FMIPA UNEJ, based on the circular, has scheduled officers every month with a rehearsal on the previous Friday. This was done because there were several changes in the implementation of the morning assembly at FMIPA. It was seen in this morning’s assembly that there were additional reports from the assembly commander and the prayer reading officer. The implementation was also moved forward to exactly 07.00 so as not to disrupt learning activities at FMIPA UNEJ.
