Halal bi Halal for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, Family of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember

“Alhamdulillah, we can gather through halal bi halal after the holy month of Ramadan. May we receive forgiveness after a full month of worship and be reunited with Ramadan next year,” began the sermon by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., at the Halal bi Halal event for the FMIPA UNEJ Family (April 8). Held at the Baitul Ilmi Mosque, FMIPA UNEJ, the Dean touched on dhikr and reflection. After a month of worship, we continue to consistently remember Allah SWT. “It is our natural human nature to continually pray as an expression of our gratitude for the blessings Allah has given us, one of which is dhikr,” he said.

Prof. Dafik stated that by remembering Allah, we will always remember the Almighty. This will bring us peace, enabling us to better carry out our activities on campus. “The FMIPA Mosque is now more comfortable for worship. Amidst campus activities, we can quietly meditate on dhikr in the mosque,” he continued. Equally important, alongside dhikr is thinking. It forms a unity that can support our lives as we face the present and the future. The 1447 H Halal bi Halal gathering was attended by the entire FMIPA UNEJ academic community, as well as retired lecturers and educational staff.
