The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember with the Center for Environmental Research and Clean Technology of the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRLTB-BRIN) signed the cooperation agreement offline and online (1/2). PRLTB-BRIN moderated by Dr. Hanies Ambarsari, BSc., M. ApplSc. located in the PRLTB Meeting Room, Geostech 820 Building, South Tangerang. And FMIPA UNEJ was led directly by the Dean of FMIPA Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the Meeting Room of the FMIPA UNEJ Dean Building. The signing event was a follow-up to the meeting of the two parties some time ago which discussed preparations for cooperation.

In his remarks the Head of PRLTB BRIN Dr. Sasa Sofyan Munawwar, S.Hut., M.P. said that research and innovation collaboration activities were summarized in Research and Innovation in the Fields of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Environment and Clean Technology. “We PRLTB BRIN really appreciate the achievement of cooperation with FMIPA UNEJ in the field of Environment and Clean Technology to establish collaborative research and development of science and technology,” he said.

FMIPA UNEJ represented by the Dean also strongly supports the cooperation agreement with PRLTB BRIN. “Although on a hybrid basis, we present a team of FMIPA researchers who will support this collaborative activity, because it is also the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education,” he explained. The collaboration between FMIPA UNEJ and PRLTB BRIN will last until 2025. The dean also hopes that through this collaboration more students will conduct research at BRIN and the collaboration of BRIN researchers with FMIPA UNEJ lecturers will also increase.

Dr. Hanies Ambarsari who is also the coordinator of the PRLTB-BRIN research team said that the Center for Research on Environment and Clean Technology has the technical tasks of research, development, study, application and innovation in the field of environment and clean technology. “Starting from communication with Novita Andarini from FMIPA discussing the environment and clean technology, we can put together research collaborations for lecturers as well as students,” he said.

Novita Andarini from the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA as the coordinator of the FMIPA researcher, on the occasion of speaking also said that the signing of this collaboration stems from the field she is engaged in, namely the environment and clean technology. At the core of the event, the Head of PRLTB BRIN Dr. Sasa Sofyan Munawwar, S.Hut., M.P. sign the cooperation agreement text accompanied by the BRIN Legal and Cooperation Bureau Team. Simultaneously, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. signed the manuscript accompanied by the Deputy Deans of FMIPA UNEJ.
