UKM Robotika UNEJ held an Open Booth at Building I Mathematics FMIPA (31/10). Featured The LAGORI 2022 robots, wheeled soccer robot, search and rescue robots and thematic robot. Daniel Izzulhaq Elriyan, Head of UKM Robotika, said that through this activity, FMIPA UNEJ students, especially freshmen, got to know and grew interested in robots. “This open booth is an event to introduce the world of robots, and we UKM Robotika is ready to accommodate all of your interests,” at first.

Explained the function of each robot that performed on the occasion. The LAGORI 2022 robot is a robot prepared for the ABU Robocon International Event. “This robot is designed to take part in the selection of Kontes Robot ABU Indonesia (KRAI) with the LAGORI theme,” explained Daniel. No less interesting is the appearance of a wheeled soccer robot. This robot uses wheels and moves agilely like a soccer game in general.

Also shown, a SAR robot appears which is an autonomous robot with legs with the task of extinguishing fires as fire prevention. Lastly, the thematic robot that plays the traditional DAM-DAMAN game by integrating it with digital twin technology. “Digital twin is a data analysis process that leads to decision making through simulations and models,” explained one of UKM Robotika’s team.

For information, UKM Robotica UNEJ has 4 divisions, namely the Indonesian Abu Robot Contest, Indonesian Search and Rescue Robot Contest, Indonesian Wheeled Football Robot Contest, and Indonesian Thematic Robot Contest. And UKM Robotika have competed at national and international levels with many achievements.

At the end of event, Daniel again invited all FMIPA students, especially maba, to join UKM Robotika UNEJ. “We are currently opening open recruitment until November 4, for more information, you can open our account on IG @robotika_unej,” he concluded. Enthusiastic visitors, including UKM Robotika Fisika, were seen with admiration seeing the demos of the robots.
