FMIPA Delegation Participates in the University of Jember’s Nusantara Cultural Parade on Pancasila Day

Led directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences delegation participated in the University of Jember’s Nusantara Cultural Parade (6/1). The parade was part of the Pancasila Month Celebrations, which this year adopted the theme “Kampus Berdampak Berlandaskan Nilai Pancasila untuk Kemajuan Bangsa” The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences sent seven pairs of representatives, consisting of lecturers and staff, dressed in traditional Indonesian attire. Following the Pancasila Day flag-raising ceremony, a cultural parade took place along the courtyard of the University of Jember’s Rectorate Building. Representatives from every faculty, institution, and technical unit (UPA) within the University of Jember participated in the parade.

FMIPA UNEJ placed eighth in the parade, with Dean Prof. Dafik displaying a graceful stride toward the stage of honor. The cheers were presented with a unified theme of the archipelago, including the FMIPA slogan: “Create, Innovate, and Achieve.” “We have appointed representatives from the lecturers and staff to participate in the parade, dressed in traditional Indonesian attire and prepared cheers and dance movements to participate in the 2026 Pancasila Birth Day celebrations,” said the Dean of FMIPA. FMIPA participated in Ceremony and Lively Hari Lahir Pancasila at UNEJ

FMIPA sent a delegation of 33 people to Hari Lahir Pancasila ceremony at the Auditorium Building of University of Jember (1/6). Together with all agencies throughout Indonesia, The UNEJ academic community attended the Hari Lahir Pancasila ceremony which was centered in Ende, Nusa Tenggara Timur with Inspector of the Presidential Ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. All ceremony participants, including the FMIPA delegation, wore traditional clothes from various regions in Indonesia. “We appoint representatives from lecturers, education staff and students to take part in Hari Lahir Pancasila ceremony by wearing Indonesian traditional clothes,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D.

During the implementation, several staffs were seen wearing traditional clothes from Central Java, South Sumatra, Madura, the Osing Tribe, and some traditional clothes in Indonesia. Rector of University of Jember in his speech said that we must continue to believe that the values ​​of Pancasila if they are implemented properly will have a good impact on the progress of Indonesian nation.
