FMIPA participated in Ceremony and Lively Hari Lahir Pancasila at UNEJ

FMIPA sent a delegation of 33 people to Hari Lahir Pancasila ceremony at the Auditorium Building of University of Jember (1/6). Together with all agencies throughout Indonesia, The UNEJ academic community attended the Hari Lahir Pancasila ceremony which was centered in Ende, Nusa Tenggara Timur with Inspector of the Presidential Ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. All ceremony participants, including the FMIPA delegation, wore traditional clothes from various regions in Indonesia. “We appoint representatives from lecturers, education staff and students to take part in Hari Lahir Pancasila ceremony by wearing Indonesian traditional clothes,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D.

During the implementation, several staffs were seen wearing traditional clothes from Central Java, South Sumatra, Madura, the Osing Tribe, and some traditional clothes in Indonesia. Rector of University of Jember in his speech said that we must continue to believe that the values ​​of Pancasila if they are implemented properly will have a good impact on the progress of Indonesian nation.

“Therefore, as a manifestation of the application of Pancasila values, we University of Jember, participate in enlivening this month of June as Pancasila Month,” said Rector of UNEJ Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng, IPM, who on that occasion launched the Video Profile of Taman Edukasi Kebangsaan, Declaration Confirming UNEJ as a Pancasila Campus, and Launching the Lively Pancasila Month.

FMIPA delegation and work units at University of Jember were enthusiastic about participating in the ceremony wearing traditional Indonesian clothes. This can be seen from the preparation one day before the implementation, several staff have tried the clothes. Some of the traditional clothes are private collections and some are rented in several places. Hari Lahir Pancasila Ceremony is increasingly rife with Pancasila chants from each work unit. Theme for Hari Lahir Pancasila 2022 is Bangkit Bersama Membangun Peradaban Dunia.

To note, in Pancasila month, University of Jember held several agendas such as national seminars, national lectures, the award for PPKN teachers, the award for the Pancasila village head, and cerdas cermat Pancasila. Meanwhile, Taman Edukasi Kebangsaan is a learning infrastructure outside the classroom that is educative and creative and is the only one in Indonesia in a university. The goal is to become a meeting point for the nation’s children from various backgrounds in doing college assignments or discussing.

At Taman Edukasi Kebangsaan there is a jogging track and Working Space with several mural painting spots featuring faces of national figures, buildings and traditional houses as well as traditional dances in Indonesia.
