FMIPA UNEJ Strengthens ASN through Training on Aligning Perspectives on Digital-Based Personnel Administration

FMIPA UNEJ held Pelatihan Penyamaan Persepsi Pelaksanaan Administrasi Kepegawaian dalam Mendukung Tertib Administrasi, Disiplin Kerja, dan Pengembangan Kompetensi ASN at the UNEJ Jubung Vocational Campus on October 25. This initiative aligns with FMIPA UNEJ’s commitment to strengthening personnel administration governance making it more adaptive to digital transformation while simultaneously enhancing the competencies of its civil servant staff. The event was opened by the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., who emphasized that the development of civil servant competencies must be rooted in a spirit of lifelong learning. “Educational support staff must continuously learn to keep pace with technological advancements particularly in the management of digital personnel data to ensure they can provide effective, accurate, and professional administrative services,” he stated.

Prof. Dafik emphasized that digital transformation must be accompanied by the enhancement of the competencies of educational support staff. “Civil servant (ASN) staff at the FMIPA UNEJ are encouraged to continuously update their skills in managing personnel data digitally, as well as to leverage artificial intelligence to accelerate data processing and improve administrative efficiency,” he added. This ensures that the targets for civil servant (ASN) competency development can be achieved sustainably, while simultaneously supporting the realization of increasingly professional administrative governance.

Moving on to the presentation session, the Vice Dean II of the FMIPA UNEJ, Dr. Esti Utarti, S.P., M.Si., delivered a talk titled “Policies and Alignment of Perspectives on Personnel Administration.” The presentation covered various regulations, procedures, and administrative aspects that all civil servants (ASN) within FMIPA UNEJ must understand to ensure a unified approach to personnel administration. The Vice Dean II also provided guidance regarding staff discipline and the systematic reporting of work performance, as outlined in the university’s quarterly SKP and the annual ministerial-level SKP.

Next, the keynote speaker, Eka Aji Saharudin, S.Kom., from the UNEJ Central Office’s Human Resources division, provided a comprehensive discussion on the implementation of personnel administration at the faculty level covering everything from records management and workplace discipline to the application of various official regulations governing ASN personnel. The training was conducted in an interactive format, consisting of two main sessions. In the first session, participants gained an in-depth understanding of various applications that support ASN administration including MyASN, DiktiHR, SKP system, and UNEJ’s SISTER platformas well as how these tools are integrated to facilitate modern personnel administration.

Meanwhile, the second session focused on providing guidance for entering and updating data in the MyASN Digital system, ensuring that each participant’s personnel records remain accurate and compliant with established regulations. Participants were able to directly address any challenges encountered during the digital data processing. Through this training, the FMIPA UNEJ aims to foster a work culture characterized by greater order, discipline, and adaptability to digital transformation, while strengthening the competencies of civil servants (ASN) as a foundation for delivering excellent academic and administrative services.
