Wanting to Learn More, SMAN 1 Asembagus Visits the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember (UNEJ), received a visit from SMAN 1 Asembagus to learn more about the Faculty in particular and the University of Jember in general (December 22). Led by Drs. Said Ripin Bukaryo, M.Si., Principal of SMAN 1 Asembagus, the group was received by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty, Prof. Dra. Hari Sulistiyowati, M.Sc., Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice Dean III of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Edy Supriyanto, S.Si., M.Si. “I would like to thank you for hosting our visit. This allows our students to learn more about the Faculty and ultimately develop an interest in studying there,” said Said. He stated that the Faculty produces excellent graduates, and he himself, an alumnus of the first class of the Faculty’s Master of Mathematics Study Program, cited the example of himself as an alumnus of the first class of the Faculty’s Master of Mathematics Study Program.

In her remarks, the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNEJ, introduced the undergraduate and master’s study programs at the Faculty. “We have four undergraduate and four master’s programs: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, all of which have been UNGGUL accredited,” she said. Prof. Hari also discussed the curriculum and the superior learning facilities, especially the laboratories, which students of SMAN 1 Asembagus will be able to visit directly. To conclude the ceremonial visit, the Principal of SMAN 1 Asembagus presented souvenirs to the Vice Deans I and III of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Physics Master Study Program, FMIPA University of Jember Achieves UNGGUL Accreditation Predicate from LAMSAMA

Good news is here again for the FMIPA academic community at Jember University. Physics Master Study Program, FMIPA University of Jember  achieved UNGGUL accreditation. Contained in the decision of the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) Number 022/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/M/IV/2024 dated April 1, 2024. The achievement of this superior accreditation is very encouraging for the Physics Masters Study Program and also for all residents of FMIPA UNEJ. This is because some time ago the Biology Masters Study Program FMIPA also achieved UNGGUL accreditation, so there are already 4 study programs at the FMIPA University of Jember that have successfully achieved accreditation with a UNGGUL rating from LAMSAMA..

The success of the Physics Master’s Study Program is an effort made by all parties. The Physics Master’s Study Program, through its accreditation team, prepares forms, supported by lecturers, students, alumni, and other stakeholders working together to achieve the title of UNGGUL accreditation. Jember University leadership also plays a role and supports the LAMSAMA accreditation process, which is carried out by all work units within UNEJ. During the field assessment, Vice Rector I of UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Signing of Perjanjian Kinerja 2024 at FMIPA University of Jember

“The target for achieving the IKU for each study program is contained in the performance agreement at FMIPA, as well as the achievement of implementing the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi,” said Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., at the signing of the 2024 performance (29/2). Performance agreements are made to realize government performance that is effective, transparent, accountable, and results-oriented. The 2024 performance agreement signing ceremony was carried out by the Dean with the Head of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Study Programs as well as the Head of the Laboratory at the FMIPA University of Jember.

Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, accompanied by Vice Deans I, II, and III, signed a Perjanjian Kinerja in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the FMIPA UNEJ dean building. The signing of the integrity pact regarding the Zona Integritas-Wilayah Bebas Korupsi (ZI-WBK) was also conveyed during the signing of the Perjanjian Kinerja with the Rector of the University of Jember in 2024 some time ago. “By signing an integrity pact for all work unit leaders, University of Jember has launched the development of ZI-WBK to uphold good governance, combined with the signing of a Perjanjian Kinerja to produce maximum service quality,” he said.
