“Ramadan has passed; hopefully we will be forgiven, all sins will be erased, and we can be reunited with Ramadhan next year,” began the lecture of the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., in the Halal bi Halal event for the Big Family of FMIPA UNEJ (23/4). In his lecture, the dean touched on faith and sincerity when welcoming and carrying out worship in the month of Ramadan. “To get maghfiroh, you need faith accompanied by sincerity, because fasting is a direct matter with Allah SWT, so sincerity is the main capital, not for something and for something in carrying it out,” he continued.

It is also said that sincerity is more difficult than istiqomah because sincerity glorifies the name of Allah SWT. “So even though we are ignored by people, we are still willing to do something for the sake of Allah; that is a very noble act,” said the dean in front of FMIPA residents and also the retired staff present.
