In Auditorium of Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, civitas akademika attended ceremony and Rapat Terbuka Senat University of Jember (10/11). Commemoration the 57th anniversary University of Jember was carried out by each work unit online and offline with led Rector of University of Jember. Using videotron and zoom meetings to broadcast the dies natalis agenda, civitas FMIPA attended event led by Dean of FMIPA UNEJ. In his mandate, Rektor UNEJ, Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng. said that the 57th Anniversary of University of Jember which coincided with Hari Pahlawan on November 10, we can take lessons from the struggles of the heroes and founders of the University of Jember. “Today, with all the dedication we have, University of Jember continues to contribute to realizing the ideals of the nation’s progress such as the fighters and founders of Triump Viraat” he said. The theme of the 57th anniversary of the University of Jember is “Kampus Gotong Royong untuk Indonesia Tangguh dan Tumbuh“. Rektor said that togetherness and mutual cooperation would further accelerate the progress of the University of Jember, making a real contribution to the life of the community, nation and state. At the end of his speech, Iwan Taruna invited the entire academic community of the University of Jember to have integrity together, to advance University of Jember. “Let’s continue to change to provide the best service to stakeholders. We are trying to realize the ideals of the founders of the University of Jember” he concluded.

After flag ceremony, it was followed by an rapat senat terbuka University of Jember. At beginning of the event, remarks were made by several Menteri, State officials, Institutional leaders, Bupati Jember, Kapolres Jember, and Rektor of several universities in East Java. Menko Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan RI, Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P. also conveyed his remarks and appreciation for the celebration of University of Jember’s anniversary. Scientific Oration by Ns. Tantut Susanto, S.Kep., M.Kep., S.Kep.Kom., Ph.D. fromFaculty of Nursing, University of Jember with entitled Home health Care Model: Penguatan Fungsi Perawatan Keluarga dalam Pencegahan COVID-19.

At the end of event, Rektor of University of Jember cut tumpeng to be handed over to Wakil Rektor and was attended by all participants in rapat senat terbuka in their work units. To be known to celebrate the 57th anniversary, University of Jember held several competitions: lomba lingkungan hidup, pemilihan duta kampus, anugerah prestasi mahasiswa, anugerah layanan akademik dan kemahasiswaan di lingkungan UNEJ, kompetisi penghargaan kreatifitas website dan media sosial, fakultas tangguh covid-19, penghargaan fakultas dengan pengajaran terbaik 2021, turnamen catur mahasiswa, lomba penilaian kinerja penelitian dan karya ilmiah and the competition has been held desain twibbon.
