“SKPI is used for stakeholders to know the competence of an alumni” said Dean of FMIPA University of Jember Drs. Sujito, Ph.D. in the ‘Pelepasan Alumni‘ at Department of Physics (Friday, 3 November 2017). The Alumni and the Vice Deans, the Chairman of the Secretary of Undergraduate and Masters Programs and Administrative Leaders at FMIPA presented dance and band performances unplugged from UKM TITIK. Mr. Jito then advised on the importance of SKPI for alumni. “SKPI is given to prospective graduates after going through some verification until signed by the dean, students start applying SKPI and then will be verified by the student affairs, SKPI team in the course until verification at Vice Dean I by paying attention to the Indonesian and English” he explained. There are some students who do not care with SKPI, but it is very important as the provision of an alumni to be able to compete in the ‘pasar bebas‘ today.
“Alhamdulillah, 33% of the graduates are able to complete their studies in less than 4 years, and especially for this period the Bachelor of Science Mathematics does not represent alumni because the Bachelor of Science Mathematics always include large amount in certain period” he concluded. Pelepasan Alumni Pasca Sarjana (S2) XXV dan Sarjana (S1) LVI Periode III Tahun Akademik 2017/2018 followed 48 Calon Wisudawan Wisudawati Bachelor and Master with 14 Bachelor of Science Physics, 10Bachelor of Science Chemistry, 12 Bachelor of Science Biology, 9 Master Program Mathematics dan 3 Master Program Biology.
In the Pelepasan Alumni, Dean FMIPA gave 3 SKPI (Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah) to be used as a companion Surat Keterangan Lulus (SKL), diplomas and transcripts. With the SKPI will help the stakeholder users to get students who have competencies beyond the competence that has been contained in the diploma. SKPI at Jember University contains two main points: the first point about Sikap dan Tata Nilai.

The Dean of FMIPA Universitas Jember also gave awards to the outstanding graduates, Ahmad Suhardiman (131810301045) with IPK 3.69 and 3.6 months study period from the Bachelor of Science Chemistry. In this period there are also two more names that become outstanding students with the criteria graduated with cumlaude: Shofiyawati Elok Faiqotul Himah (131810401058) from the Bachelor of Science Biology with IPK 3,52 and Fresha Aflahul Ula (131810401042) from the Bachelor of Science Biology with IPK 3,59.

Submission of alumni on given to Ika Hesti Agustin, S.Si., M.Si. as a representative of Ikatan Alumni FMIPA (IKAMIPA) University of Jember who is an alumnus Bachelor of Science Mathematics 2006. “Keep in touch and communication between alumni and civitas academica of FMIPA through website container that have been provided that is ikamipa.unej.ac.id” she said. Ahmad Suhardiman representing alumni expressed his gratitude to the lecturers who have nurtured and the institution that has provided the best service to its students so far. “We have to be an alumni who has more value with others with the knowledge, attitude, direction given by the lecturers during college, supervisor when the thesis. Not only satisfied with this, we must achieve more and more achievements to boast parent and FMIPA of course” He said.
