Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Graduation Ceremony, Jember University, Period 7, Academic Year 2025/2026

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Jember University held its 116th Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Jember University, Period 7, Academic Year 2025/2026 (January 21). The ceremony took place in the Physics Department Auditorium, FMIPA, Jember University. In his graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of their studies at FMIPA. He encouraged the graduates to prepare themselves to be competitive when entering society. “Today’s workforce requires workers with KKNI (National Qualifications Framework) level 6, so I hope that with the knowledge gained from studying at FMIPA, I can remain competitive,” he began. At this level, individuals must master various more complex competencies. They must possess strong managerial skills, be able to make strategic decisions, and be capable of development and innovation.

Prof. Dafik stated that the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, with its motto of “creativity,” will continue to produce energetic, multi-tasking, and multi-talented graduates. This motto, supported by creativity, enables graduates to be independent. “Don’t rely solely on a science degree, but develop your creativity so you can work in various fields, which are currently rapidly evolving,” he continued. Prof. Dafik advised the graduates to balance prayer and effort to achieve success. The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences led an open meeting of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences senate, accompanied by the Vice Deans II and III of the Faculty. All members of the FMIPA senate, as well as invited guests representing the teaching and administrative staff of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jember University, were present. Judiciary Faculty of MIPA University of Jember Period 6 Academic Year 2025/2026

FMIPA UNEJ held the 82nd Postgraduate Judiciary (S2) and the 115th Bachelor of the Faculty of MIPA University of Jember Period 6 Academic Year 2025/2026 (18/12). Located in the Auditorium of the Department of Physics FMIPA University of Jember which has just been renovated. In his speech, FMIPA UNEJ Dean Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. congratulations and successful completion of studies at FMIPA University of Jember. “The graduation achievement of the judiciary is a reflection of the FMIPA tagline three point five rank 4,” he said. Dean until 3.5 years FMIPA students can scribble exam, the second maximum possible to get a GPA of 3.5 to compete with competitors in the world of work. Next 3.5 months waiting period graduates get jobs and last 3.5 million is the first salary FMIPA graduates get.

Prof. Dafik said FMIPA graduates must have value combined with long life education to be valuable in society. “FMIPA’s tagline Create, Innovate, Achieve is a combined goal of value and long life education coupled with self-awareness or metacognition so that graduates become reliable in the midst of today’s job competition,” he said. The FMIPA Dean presided over an open meeting of the MIPA Faculty senate accompanied by FMIPA Vice Deans I, II, and III. Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period 5, Academic Year 2025/2026

FThe Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Jember University held the 114th Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony for the 5th Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year (11/18). The ceremony took place in the Physics Department Auditorium of the Faculty. In his graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of their studies at FMIPA. He also informed that in the next few months, UNEJ’s status will change from a BLU to a PTNBH. “If PTNBH becomes a legal entity (PTNBH), there will be greater opportunities for FMIPA to open new study programs, and this has been appreciated by the Rector, the closest being the data science study program,” he began. The opening of study programs will result in an increased number of students who will be mentored to participate in society, like the graduates at this morning’s graduation ceremony.

Prof. Dafik stated that strong alumni data is needed to track the progress of FMIPA graduates in society. “With this data, we are preparing an OBE curriculum that will broaden the reach of alumni and enable them to choose their desired career fields,” he continued. Prof. Dafik also expressed his hope that a bachelor’s degree is not the end, but rather a foundation for lifelong learning. “Continue learning, be consistent in your efforts, and ultimately you will achieve victory and success,” he concluded. Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember Graduation Ceremony for Periods 3 and 4 of the 2025/2026 Academic Year

FMIPA UNEJ held the 80th and 81st Postgraduate (S2) Graduation as well as the 112th and 113th Undergraduate Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period 3 and 4 of the 2025/2026 Academic Year (16/10). Held in the newly renovated Physics Department Auditorium of FMIPA, University of Jember. In the graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. conveyed congratulations and success in completing their studies at FMIPA, especially during their thesis or dissertation. “The graduates have been able to complete the difficult task by completing their thesis or dissertation with a strong spirit,” he said. This is the initial foundation for preparing to enter the real world, looking for job opportunities or further studies.

Prof. Dafik said that high enthusiasm is needed by holding four main keys to achieve success in the future. “Four keys are needed, namely Critical Thinking, Creativity Thinking, Collaboration, and Communication, if these are held by the judiciary, they will always be ready to enter the community,” he continued. It was also emphasized to continue exploring skills to achieve success in work or further studies, which will also make the institution proud. It will also certainly increase the interest of new students to study at FMIPA. FMIPA UNEJ held the 79th Postgraduate (S2) and 111th Undergraduate (S2) Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period 2, Academic Year 2025/2026 (19/9). Held at the Auditorium of the Entrepreneurship Building, University of Jember. In the graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. invited the graduation to immediately prepare to compete with job seekers. “You all have to be ready, because there are so many competitors, so it’s not just GPA, but creativity is needed as a determinant of the future,” he said. With creativity, you can create opportunities to open your own business, become an entrepreneur without having to depend on job vacancies.

Prof. Dafik stated that with the new curriculum, students are taught about entrepreneurship so they can become self-sufficient. “The new curriculum has added entrepreneurship, so that they can create their own jobs through entrepreneurship,” he continued. Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period I, Academic Year 2025/2026

FMIPA UNEJ held the 78th Postgraduate (S2) and 110th Undergraduate Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, period I, Academic Year 2025/2026 (24/7). Held at the Auditorium of the Entrepreneurship Building, University of Jember. In the graduation speech, Deputy Dean I of FMIPA UNEJ Prof. Dra. Hari Sulistiyowati, M.Sc., Ph.D. said that graduation is not the end of a journey. “Graduation is a gateway to a greater world that will be traversed, namely the world of work, community service and further self-development,” she said. It is said that an academic degree is not a symbol but an internal, intellectual and moral responsibility that must be maintained.

Prof. Hari invited the graduates to become graduates who are not only intelligent but also have integrity. “Bring the good name of the FMIPA UNEJ alma mater wherever you go and become agents of change in society,” she continued. He also congratulated and congratulated all the graduates and invited them to prepare for the future after the graduation ceremony next weekend.
