Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., signed a collaboration with the Indonesia Ecotourism Network (INDECON), which was personally attended by Indriani Setiawati, S.Si., as Chairman of the Foundation (16/8). “This relationship is increasingly expanding the scope of collaboration that FMIPA is doing; together with INDECON, we will share a lot of knowledge about ecotourism as well as community-based tourism,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ. It was also conveyed that INDECON, which has 25 years of experience, can become a partner in Tridharma Higher Education activities, especially nature conservation through ecotourism.

During the meeting, two faculties at UNEJ also signed a collaboration agreement with INDECON. Prof. Drs. Antonius Cahya Prihandoko, M.App.Sc., Ph.D., Dean of FASILKOM UNEJ, and Dr. Djoko Poernomo, M.Si. The Dean of FISIP UNEJ also agreed to collaborate with INDECON. “It is possible for other faculties to join hands with us with INDECON because they have similarities in realizing higher education’s Tridharma activities,” continued the Dean, who was accompanied by Deputy Deans who are also FMIPA Biology lecturers.
