106th Graduation Ceremony of Undergraduate Program (S1) FMIPA UNEJ Period VI Academic Year 2024/2025

FMIPA UNEJ held the 106th Undergraduate (S1) Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period VI, Academic Year 2024/2025 (18/10). Held in the Auditorium of the Entrepreneurship Building, University of Jember. In his graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., invited the graduates to immediately equip themselves in preparation for entering society. “With the knowledge gained, coupled with persistence and consistency, soft skills are needed again, which are called adaptation skills to the environment, especially the world of work,” said Prof. Dafik.

Adaptation skills are needed because of the constant changes that occur in this life. “Along with the progress of the times, the knowledge gained must transform into skills so that adaptation skills become extraordinary,” he continued. The graduates were reminded that soft skills and hard skills are basic decisions of adaptation, while adaptation is the key to success. Make it a weapon to be able to fight in entering the world of work. The dean advised that graduation is the future of a brilliant generation by holding the keywords conveyed. “Hopefully you will all be successful, and don’t waste time; fill your time by continuing to study,” he concluded. Natasya Emi Wijayati from Physics Achieves Highest GPA and Graduates Fastest at 103rd FMIPA UNEJ Graduation

FMIPA UNEJ held the 103rd Undergraduate Graduation (S1) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, for the 3rd period of the 2024/2025 academic year (13/9). Taking place on the 3rd floor of the Entrepreneurship Building, the University of Jember was attended by 16 prospective graduates. In his graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., invited the graduates to immediately prepare themselves after graduation tomorrow. “After the euphoria of graduation tomorrow, immediately prepare to face the future with the knowledge gained during their studies at FMIPA, University of Jember,” he began. The Dean believes that with the knowledge from FMIPA lecturers, graduates will be able to solve problems in the real world. When in college it ends in a simulation, but when in society they must be able to provide problem solving in all fields.

“I have confidence that FMIPA graduates can optimize their college education if they encounter real problems in their future lives,” he continued. Prof. Dafik also said that there are many opportunities that FMIPA graduates can achieve when they enter society in various fields. Graduates are also expected to have competitiveness and fighting spirit so that FMIPA is increasingly heard inside and outside the UNEJ campus. In this graduation, Natasya Emi Wijayati from the Physics Department achieved the highest GPA of 3.85 and became the fastest graduate with a study period of 3 years, 8 months, and 28 days. 102nd Graduation Ceremony of FMIPA UNEJ Undergraduate Program Period 2 Academic Year 2024/2025

FMIPA UNEJ held the 102nd Undergraduate (S1) Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Period 2, Academic Year 2024/2025 (28/8). Different from before, this period’s graduation was held at the Entrepreneurship Building, University of Jember. In his graduation speech, the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., invited the graduates to commemorate the moment of independence by continuing the struggle through the fields that they will pursue after graduation. “Make the momentum of independence an example to continue your ideals through various fields with a fighting spirit to change your fate,” he said. The Dean advised that with the weapons in your pocket now, you can be effective and accurate in producing a better life.

It is said that a graduate with KKNI level 6 is already sufficient provision to compete in the world job market. “The world of work, such as industry and teachers to those who will continue their studies, now is the time to hurry because to fill independence there is long-term education, namely lifelong learning,” he continued. The Dean, together with the Vice Dean and the Senate of FMIPA UNEJ, congratulated and succeeded the 48 judges as well as the educators who led the judges to achieve their bachelor’s degrees. “Create yourself as someone who is independent with the provision of KKNI level 6 from FMIPA and do not depend on others, especially parents,” he concluded.
