“Thank you to all the 2022 ORMAWA management who have carried out their duties well, and for the new 2023 administrators to prepare themselves to provide the best for FMIPA,” the opening remarks of Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the inauguration of the Management of ORMAWA FMIPA University of Jember for the 2023 service period (16/1) in Lecture Room 1 of the Chemistry Department, FMIPA.

Furthermore, the Dean hopes that in the future the student affairs agenda can be carried out properly through careful planning and guidance from the supervisor. Present at the inauguration of FMIPA leadership, ORMAWA supervisors and new and old ORMAWA FMIPA UNEJ administrators. The Dean also asked the new management to communicate with their predecessors to improve performance and achievements. “Communicate with the old management, as we know the previous BEM management was able to make it to the finals of the 2022 ORMAWA Community Service Program, ask for tricks to achieve that or more,” he said.

The role of students was also mentioned by the Dean of FMIPA, in achieving accreditation of a study program the role of students is very important. “The role of students in taking part in PKM is an example, more and more students who participate will help assess study program accreditation and it is proven that the Department of Physics and Chemistry won at the end of last year” he hoped. At the end of his remarks the Dean also invited the ORMAWA management to give the best performance. “According to the vice-chancellor’s circular that I received yesterday so that students can have achievements independently or through ORMAWA, regarding funding the Chancellor has asked to prepare 5% of faculty funds for ORMAWA and that could be more,” he concluded.

Previously Deputy Dean III FMIPA UNEJ Dr. Edy Supriyanto, S.Si., M.Si. read the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember regarding the Appointment of Management of ORMAWA FMIPA Jember University for the 2023 term. And continued reading the attachment to the Dean’s Decree which lists the names of the new ORMAWA administrators for the 2023 term by Deputy Coordinator of the Administrative Working Group for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs Muhayat Zamroni , S.S.

Reading of the script for the inauguration of BPM, BEM, HMJ and UKM FMIPA UNEJ for the 2023 service period by the Dean of FMIPA, University of Jember. To note, Organisasi Kemahasiswaan (ORMAWA) at FMIPA Jember University consist of DPM ((Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa, BEM (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa), HMJ (Himpinan Mahasiswa Jurusan), UKMS TITIK (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Seni TITIK), UKM IONS (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Islamic Organization of Mathematics and Natural Science), UKM PALAPA (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Pencinta Alam Mahasiswa MIPA), LPMM ALPHA (Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa MIPA ALPHA), and UKM SPORA (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Seni Paduan Suara dan Olah Raga).
