Halal bi Halal Idul Fitri 1446 H Family of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember

“Ramadan is over, may we receive forgiveness after worshiping for a whole month and can be reunited with Ramadhan next year,” began the sermon of the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the Halal bi Halal event of the FMIPA UNEJ Family (22/4). In his sermon, the Dean touched on how to maintain fitrah after Eid al-Fitr. “There are three ways to maintain fitrah after we carry out Eid al-Fitr which means returning to purity after carrying out worship in the month of Ramadan,” he said.

Prof. Dafik said that one way to maintain fitrah is to be patient. A whole month is trained to be patient, and after Ramadan it’s time to apply it in everyday life. “With qonaah or patience, we will be able to continue to maintain fitrah in going through the journey of life,” he continued. The next is sincerity, this will fortify yourself when you get a trial. In life, problems arise both from yourself, the environment and the state. With sincerity which is the nature of every human being, all tests and trials can be passed easily of course by holding fast to faith in Allah. Continue reading
