As in previous years, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, is again the location for the 2025 UTBK SNBT exam. FMIPA provides two exam rooms, namely Mathematics Laboratory 1 and Mathematics Laboratory 2. “In each exam room, we have prepared 20 exam computers and 4 backup computers,” said Dr. Esti Utarti, S.P., M.Si. Vice Dean II of FMIPA UNEJ. It was also said that for the transit room for exam participants, an international classroom is provided for the Mathematics Department of FMIPA. Supporting facilities for UTBK have also been prepared such as generators, directions to the location and a place to drop off exam participants. According to the schedule, the 2025 UTBK SNBT will be held from April 23 to May 3, 2025.

FMIPA UNEJ is one of the locations along with 20 other exam locations with 30 exam rooms and 955 computer devices spread across the Tegalboto Campus to serve 13,403 UTBK SNBT participants. Before the implementation, the IT Room from the mathematics laboratory installed the UTBK application accompanied by a team from the UPA TIK. Furthermore, a network connection assessment was carried out guided by the UTBK SNBT UNEJ server admin. “After the installation and assessment, our IT Room together with UPA ICT conducted a national UTBK trial twice, to ensure readiness for implementation,” said Vice Dean II of FMIPA.

On the day of the UTBK SNBT implementation, each participant who came was invited to go to the transit room in the international class of the Mathematics Department. While in the transit room, the supervisor checked the completeness of documents such as UTBK participant cards, identity cards, and diplomas or certificates of sitting in class twelve. The supervisor will also ask participants to leave their bags, gadgets including belts for male participants. At the same time, all participants were checked with a metal detector before entering the exam room in the math lab 1 and math lab 2. The exam room is sterile and can be opened after the seal is opened by the Penanggung Jawab Lokasi (PJL).

After entering the room, the supervisor checked the attendance of participants on the exam supervisor application. Participants were accompanied by the IT Room to log in to the exam application. Next, they are guided to read the exam tutorial and observe the features available on the UTBK exam application. According to the schedule, participants start the exam together after the supervisor opens the exam on the application. After the exam, the supervisor closes the exam and sends the Berita Acara Pelaksanaan UTBK (BAPU). Participants are invited to return to the transit room and fill out the survey. And the exam room is re-sealed by the PJL and so on in the next exam session.
