Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Hosts Jember University Morning Harmony Quarterly

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences hosted the Jember University Morning Harmonies quarterly (17/3). The activity began with joint gymnastics which was attended by Rector, Vice Rector, all Deans and heads of institutions within the University of Jember. Participated in Retired UNEJ. UNEJ academic community and Dharma Wanita FMIPA association. “Our morning harmony this morning coincides with the implementation quarter, so we invite all colleagues, retirees, and all members of the community to be healthy together with gymnastics,” said the Dean of FMIPA.

Meanwhile in his remarks, Rector of the University of Jember, Iwan Taruna Harmoni Pagi is held every month with a rotating host. “Harmoni Pagi aims to strengthen the relationship between the Jember University extended family, build togetherness, and improve health,” said Iwan Taruna. Alumni Sharing, Alumni Experience Sharing Event for Prospective FMIPA UNEJ Graduates

Prospective graduates of FMIPA UNEJ before the Graduation ceremony the next day, took part in the Alumni Sharing event (10/3). The event is an informal concept, to make it easier for prospective graduates to interact with alumni in various experiences. “We design this Alumni Sharing as far as possible from a formal impression, so that all of you can ask alumni questions so that two-way communication is formed,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. when opening the show.

The Alumni Sharing edition of the University of Jember Graduation Period V for the 2022/2023 Academic Year presented Heru Cahyudi, S.Si. alumni of the Bachelor of Physics Study Program who now works as Rizki Humanity at LAZDA Rizki Jember Regency. The next alumni is Dzurotul Mutimmah, S.Si., M.Sc. alumni of undergraduate and masters of Mathematics who are now lecturers in Mathematics Education study program, FMIPA, Banyuwangi University. Signing of the 2023 Performance Agreement at FMIPA, University of Jember

In order to realize government performance that is effective, transparent and accountable and results oriented, it is necessary to have a performance agreement. “The target for achieving the IKU for each study program will be stated in the work agreement at FMIPA, even with the achievement of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. The 2023 Performance Agreement Signing Ceremony was carried out by the Dean with the Chair of the Undergraduate and Masters Study Programs at the FMIPA University of Jember (3/3).

The Dean accompanied by Vice Deans I, II and III witnessed by GPM FMIPA signed a work agreement in the dean’s meeting room on the 2nd floor of FMIPA UNEJ. Present on the occasion were the Head of the Mathematics Undergraduate Study Program, the Head of the Mathematics Masters Study Program, the Head of the Physics Undergraduate Study Program, the Head of the Physics Masters Study Program, the Head of the Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program, the Head of the Biology Undergraduate Study Program and the Head of the Biology Masters Study Program. TUK Agriculture Department of Biology FMIPA Obtains a License from LSP Pertanian Nasional

The Agricultural Competency Test Site (TUK) for the Department of Biology, FMIPA, University of Jember obtained a license from the National Agricultural Professional Certification Institute (LSP). The license is valid for 5 (five) years since it was stipulated on 6 February 2023. TUK Agriculture Department of Biology according to the stipulation will have 3 schemes namely Occupational Implementation of In Vitro Culture, Occupational Control of Organisme Penggangu Tumbuhan (OPT), and Level II Qualification of Tissue Culture. The license is also a sign of extension from the Biology Department’s TUK which has carried out mentoring and competency tests several times.

“BIology TUK has carried out technical guidance to tissue culture competency tests with participants from FMIPA itself, Biology Education FKIP, Ubaya Technobiology Faculty,” said Purwatiningsih, Ph.D Head of TUK Biology Department. FMIPA UNEJ and BSI Jember Area Strengthen Cooperation, Implement MBKM

Taking place at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Jember Gadjah Mada, FMIPA University of Jember and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk Area Jember extended the cooperation agreement (22/2). “This collaboration is the implementation of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in the form of internships, teaching practitioners, research and community service as well as other academic support activities, according to the direction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology regarding Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM),” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D accompanied by the FMIPA Cooperation Team.

Present at the event were Area Manager of Bank Syariah Indonesia Jember Area M. Reza Kamal as a signatory of the Cooperation Agreement in this case represented by Barid Paladin Apramada, Branch Manager of BSI Jember Area. Prof. Edy Cahyono from UNNES: Strategy and Implementation of Case Method and Team Based Project Learning Models

“The achievements that we will achieve in this discussion include RPS applying the Case Method and or Team Based Project,” Prof. started. Dr. Edy Cahyono, M.Si. from Semarang State University. In addition to the RPS, the CPMK and sub-CPMK formulations, learning plans, and assessment according to learning outcomes are the core of the strategy and implementation of the Case Method and Team Based Project. Everything was revealed by the Professor who is also the Coordinator of the Science Education Study Program at FMIPA UNNES when delivering material to FMIPA lecturers online (15/2).

Prof. Edy also conveyed the role of learning outcomes in learning design. “It is necessary to pay attention to competency standards for learning outcomes, even with content standards for study materials supported by learning methods and learning activities according to standards as well as to produce assessment standards for a task,” he explained. For learning methods according to IKU point 7 in Kepmendikbud No. 3 of 2021. “In IKU point 7, Case Method and Team Based Project refer to RPS, implementation, namely the role of students to assessment and evaluation,” he continued.
