Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Hosts Jember University Morning Harmony Quarterly

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences hosted the Jember University Morning Harmonies quarterly (17/3). The activity began with joint gymnastics which was attended by Rector, Vice Rector, all Deans and heads of institutions within the University of Jember. Participated in Retired UNEJ. UNEJ academic community and Dharma Wanita FMIPA association. “Our morning harmony this morning coincides with the implementation quarter, so we invite all colleagues, retirees, and all members of the community to be healthy together with gymnastics,” said the Dean of FMIPA.

Meanwhile in his remarks, Rector of the University of Jember, Iwan Taruna Harmoni Pagi is held every month with a rotating host. “Harmoni Pagi aims to strengthen the relationship between the Jember University extended family, build togetherness, and improve health,” said Iwan Taruna. DWP FMIPA Becomes Joint Committee for DWP’s 23rd Anniversary and 94th Mother’s Day at Catur Wulan DWP UNEJ

Dharma Wanita Persatuan FMIPA UNEJ became a joint committee with the DWP Faculty of Pharmacy, FTP, FKG, and FKEP on the 23rd DWP Anniversary and 94th Mother’s Day at Catur Wulan DWP UNEJ (21/12). The event with the theme Optimizing the role of mothers in improving children’s health through the use of TOGA plants was held at the Auditorium of the University of Jember. Starting from the cutting of the tumpeng by the Head of DWP UNEJ Wiwin Iwan Taruna accompanied by Rina Slamin and Rini Bambang Kuswandi. Continued handing over the rope of compassion to the foster children.

Nur Sa’dijah Achmad Saifullah as Chairperson of DWP FMIPA UNEJ also had the opportunity to provide compassion with the Chairperson of the DWP UNEJ who was the committee at the event. “Tali asih is also part of the FMIPA DWP program, as some time ago we conveyed to students in the form of educational donations,” said Nur Sa’dijah. The Dean and FMIPA JABODETABEK Alumni Families follow Jalan Gembira Nasional KAUJE

The Dean of FMIPA UNEJ and alumni of FMIPA throughout JABODETABEK and their families took part in the Jalan Gembira Nasional KAUJE in the GBK area of Jakarta (27/11). “I am very happy, I am happy to be able to stay in touch with alumni of FMIPA UNEJ, tell each other stories, share experiences and messages of hope for their juniors,” said the Dean. At FMIPA booth, alumni said that now they have worked in various companies in the JABODETABEK area. One of them is Rido, an alumnus of the Mathematics Department who now works as a data consultant for a US company.

“After 2021, I am now working as a data consultant for a US company, the mathematics I got while studying at FMIPA can be applied here,” said Rido, who previously worked on SCTV national TV, MNCTV and KompasTV. Continue reading

After Chemistry Study Program, LAMSAMA Assessor Team Field Assessment in Physics Study Program FMIPA

After last Monday Chemistry Study Program carried out LAMSAMA field assessment, today the Assessor Team came to Physics Study Program FMIPA (17/11). The Chancellor of University of Jember, Iwan Taruna, again opened the field assessment program. “Yesterday Chemistry Study Program, now the Physics Study Program is being assessed, as the Chancellor of UNEJ was present to provide support for the study programs at UNEJ which are being accredited,” said Iwan Taruna. Furthermore, Iwan said that UNEJ encourages the accreditation of each study program because it will improve the quality of study programs through evaluation and assessment.

The Chancellor also said that UNEJ has 15 faculties, 1 graduate with 108 study programs and a vocational program is needed to support non-academic learning. “In the future UNEJ will open a vocational program in Jubung to produce skilled graduates and experts in their fields,” said Iwan Taruna. At the end of his remarks, the Chancellor hoped that the Physics study program would get the desired accreditation. “Congratulations on exploring to the assessors and Physics team, hoping to get the best results,” he concluded. LAMSAMA Accreditation Field Assessment for Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA UNEJ

The team of Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) conducted a field assessment for the accreditation of the Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA UNEJ. The Chancellor of University of Jember, Iwan Taruna had the opportunity to attend and open the field assessment (14/11). In his remarks, Iwan Taruna said that several study programs at UNEJ were also in the same accreditation process as the Chemistry Pod. “In recent times, several study programs on our campus have also carried out the accreditation process both nationally and internationally,” he said.

Furthermore, Iwan Taruna said that the Chemistry Study Program had prepared such a field assessment in a relatively short time. “According to the Dean, the Chemistry Study Program is ready for assessment and this opening is special. At the opening of the assessment, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor I and Vice Chancellor III attended the opening,” said Iwan Taruna. Continue reading

The Beginning of a New Adventure for a Bright Future for MABA FMIPA UNEJ 2022

Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember, Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. welcomes the presence of new students of FMIPA UNEJ for the 2022/2022 academic year on the FMIPA basketball court (15/8). In front of the 368 new students of FMIPA, the Dean advised students to be able to prepare themselves for a new adventure, namely the world of lectures. “Prepare yourself, because next week we will immediately carry out lectures after the week we will be introduced to UNEJ and FMIPA,” he said. New students of FMIPA in particular and UNEJ will generally receive PKKMB material in predetermined classes or groups. The Dean also hopes that students will also actively participate in lectures and follow developing information, especially regarding scholarships. “In the beginning there was KIP, in the future there will be many scholarships offered, look at and get these scholarships,” he said. The reception ended with the introduction of officials from the Dean, Study Program and Administration at FMIPA UNEJ. The Dean started the introductions from Vice Dean I, Vice Dean II, Vice Dean III, Head of Study Programs for Bachelors of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Masters of Physics, ending with the introduction of Koordinator Kelompok Kerja Tata Usaha and 3 Wakil Koordinator. On August 17 tomorrow, it is mandatory to take part in the Flag Ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day. At the end of the series of introductions to the UNEJ campus, a healthy walk and inauguration of the closing of the PKKMB will be held. “The beginning of a new adventure is in sight, immediately prepare to achieve a bright future” concluded the Dean of FMIPA encouraging new students.
