Signing of the 2026 Performance Agreement at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember

“The target achievement of the KPI for each study program is outlined in the 2026 performance agreement at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as well as the achievements in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education,” stated the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., at the signing of the 2026 performance agreement (February 6). The performance agreement, which aims to achieve university targets, is a collective effort that requires collaborative leadership. “The 2026 performance agreement elaborates four strategic targets: talent, research and innovation development, dedicated contribution, and governance with integrity, outlined in 11 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). I quoted these during the performance agreement signing between the Heads of Work Units and the Rector,” explained Prof. Dafik.

The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNEJ, invited the leaders of the Faculty to carefully review the contents of the attachment to the work agreement, which is a derivative of the work agreement between the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the Rector of the University of Jember. “Please carefully review the contents of the 2026 performance agreement attachment so that it can be implemented in each study program and laboratory within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at UNEJ,” continued Prof. Dafik. The Dean also hopes that the achievements of the 2026 performance agreement will also improve the achievement of the FMIPA UNEJ’s KPIs. The 2026 performance agreement was signed by the Dean, the Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, the Heads of Laboratories within FMIPA UNEJ, and the Head of the General Affairs Division of FMIPA. Field Assessment of LAMSAMA Accreditation for the Chemistry Master’s Program, FMIPA, University of Jember

The Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) team conducted a field assessment of the accreditation of the Chemistry Master’s Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember. The Rector of the University of Jember, Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng., IPM., ASEAN Eng., and the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Drs. Slamin, M.Comp.Sc., Ph.D., along with the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., accompanied the assessor team at the opening ceremony of the field assessment (January 28-29). The assessor team consisted of Prof. Dr. Eddy Heraldy, M.Sc. from Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, and Prof. Tri Joko Raharjo, S.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. from Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta.

In his opening remarks, Iwan Taruna expressed his hope that the Chemistry Master’s Program would achieve good accreditation results, despite its recent launch. “The Chemistry Master’s Program is relatively new and has not yet produced any graduates. I hope the assessors can give the best possible score based on the data compiled by the task force,” he said. The Rector explained that the field visit is a process for verifying accreditation documents, and in this era, it is faster because data can be retrieved from anywhere. “The visit is a process for verifying accreditation documents, and it serves as a platform for the task force to reassure the assessors. I hope it runs smoothly from start to finish,” he continued. The Rector officially opened the field assessment for the Chemistry Master’s Program. Present at the visit were leaders and representatives from supporting institutions at the University of Jember, such as the Institute for the Development of Information Technology (LPMPP), the Institute for the Development of Student Affairs (LP2M), the ICT Unit (UPA ICT), the Postgraduate Unit (UPA Library), and the Language Unit (UPA Bahasa). Judiciary Faculty of MIPA University of Jember Period 6 Academic Year 2025/2026

FMIPA UNEJ held the 82nd Postgraduate Judiciary (S2) and the 115th Bachelor of the Faculty of MIPA University of Jember Period 6 Academic Year 2025/2026 (18/12). Located in the Auditorium of the Department of Physics FMIPA University of Jember which has just been renovated. In his speech, FMIPA UNEJ Dean Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. congratulations and successful completion of studies at FMIPA University of Jember. “The graduation achievement of the judiciary is a reflection of the FMIPA tagline three point five rank 4,” he said. Dean until 3.5 years FMIPA students can scribble exam, the second maximum possible to get a GPA of 3.5 to compete with competitors in the world of work. Next 3.5 months waiting period graduates get jobs and last 3.5 million is the first salary FMIPA graduates get.

Prof. Dafik said FMIPA graduates must have value combined with long life education to be valuable in society. “FMIPA’s tagline Create, Innovate, Achieve is a combined goal of value and long life education coupled with self-awareness or metacognition so that graduates become reliable in the midst of today’s job competition,” he said. The FMIPA Dean presided over an open meeting of the MIPA Faculty senate accompanied by FMIPA Vice Deans I, II, and III. Master of Mathematics FMIPA UNEJ Finalizes Evaluation of LAMSAMA Accreditation Documents

Master of Mathematics Program FMIPA UNEJ held an evaluation of LAMSAMA accreditation documents at Agrotechno Jubung (1-3/7). Presenting a companion from the Lembaga Penjamin Mutu dan Pengembang Pembelajaran (LPMPP), Dr. Iis Nur Aisyah, S.P., M.P., and Lailatul Azkiyah, S.TP., M.P., Ph.D. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., who hopes that Masters in Mathematics can achieve UNGGUL accreditation. “In the next three days, we will discuss the evaluation of the LAMSAMA Master of Mathematics accreditation documents together, accompanied by Mrs. Iis and Mrs. Kiki from LPMPP. I hope to get good results, namely superior accreditation,” he said.

For three days, the FMIPA Mathematics Masters accreditation task force team will carry out a common perception of the Laporan Kinerja Program Studi (LKPS) and Self Evaluation Report (LED). Each criterion will be accompanied by a team from LPMPP and also UPM-GPM FMIPA UNEJ. Previously the team had worked based on agreed criteria. “Prior to the evaluation and similarity of perceptions between LKPS and LED, the task force teams had each worked based on predetermined criteria,” said Dr. Mohamad Fatekurohman, S.Si., M.Si. Chair of the Master of Mathematics accreditation task force. Fatkur hopes that at the end of the agenda, each person responsible for the criteria can present the results of their evaluation and improvements. Continue reading

Physics Master Study Program, FMIPA University of Jember Achieves UNGGUL Accreditation Predicate from LAMSAMA

Good news is here again for the FMIPA academic community at Jember University. Physics Master Study Program, FMIPA University of Jember  achieved UNGGUL accreditation. Contained in the decision of the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) Number 022/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/M/IV/2024 dated April 1, 2024. The achievement of this superior accreditation is very encouraging for the Physics Masters Study Program and also for all residents of FMIPA UNEJ. This is because some time ago the Biology Masters Study Program FMIPA also achieved UNGGUL accreditation, so there are already 4 study programs at the FMIPA University of Jember that have successfully achieved accreditation with a UNGGUL rating from LAMSAMA..

The success of the Physics Master’s Study Program is an effort made by all parties. The Physics Master’s Study Program, through its accreditation team, prepares forms, supported by lecturers, students, alumni, and other stakeholders working together to achieve the title of UNGGUL accreditation. Jember University leadership also plays a role and supports the LAMSAMA accreditation process, which is carried out by all work units within UNEJ. Signing of Perjanjian Kinerja 2024 at FMIPA University of Jember

“The target for achieving the IKU for each study program is contained in the performance agreement at FMIPA, as well as the achievement of implementing the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi,” said Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., at the signing of the 2024 performance (29/2). Performance agreements are made to realize government performance that is effective, transparent, accountable, and results-oriented. The 2024 performance agreement signing ceremony was carried out by the Dean with the Head of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Study Programs as well as the Head of the Laboratory at the FMIPA University of Jember.

Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, accompanied by Vice Deans I, II, and III, signed a Perjanjian Kinerja in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the FMIPA UNEJ dean building. The signing of the integrity pact regarding the Zona Integritas-Wilayah Bebas Korupsi (ZI-WBK) was also conveyed during the signing of the Perjanjian Kinerja with the Rector of the University of Jember in 2024 some time ago. “By signing an integrity pact for all work unit leaders, University of Jember has launched the development of ZI-WBK to uphold good governance, combined with the signing of a Perjanjian Kinerja to produce maximum service quality,” he said.
