FMIPA UNEJ and PRLTB BRIN Establish Collaboration in the Field of Environment and Clean Technology

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember with the Center for Environmental Research and Clean Technology of the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRLTB-BRIN) signed the cooperation agreement offline and online (1/2). PRLTB-BRIN moderated by Dr. Hanies Ambarsari, BSc., M. ApplSc. located in the PRLTB Meeting Room, Geostech 820 Building, South Tangerang. And FMIPA UNEJ was led directly by the Dean of FMIPA Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the Meeting Room of the FMIPA UNEJ Dean Building. The signing event was a follow-up to the meeting of the two parties some time ago which discussed preparations for cooperation.

In his remarks the Head of PRLTB BRIN Dr. Sasa Sofyan Munawwar, S.Hut., M.P. said that research and innovation collaboration activities were summarized in Research and Innovation in the Fields of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Environment and Clean Technology. “We PRLTB BRIN really appreciate the achievement of cooperation with FMIPA UNEJ in the field of Environment and Clean Technology to establish collaborative research and development of science and technology,” he said. FMIPA UNEJ Extends Collaboration with Plantation Sentool Panti Jember

FMIPA Jember University with the Sentool Panti Jember Plantation extended the cooperation agreement (31/1). Located at Wisma Brawijaya, the FMIPA team was directly led by the Dean of FMIPA Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. received by the Head of Plantation Sentool Sugiyana and his staff. “In the last year many activities have been produced after the signing of the PKS, MBKM activities, community service by FMIPA lecturers as well,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ.

Furthermore, the Dean said that through the MBKM Independent Study/Project BKP, UNEJ FMIPA students gained a lot of useful knowledge in sentool plantations. In community service driven by Dr. Teguh Hidayat Wiyono from Biology also succeeded in sharing his knowledge with the community around the plantation. “The longan tree has started to thrive thanks to Mr. Teguh’s direction, now fish seeds are the next program by looking at a good pond and irrigation here,” he said. FMIPA UNEJ and PRLTB BRIN Ready to Collaborate in the Field of Environment and Clean Technology

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember held discussions on collaboration with the Center for Environmental Research and Clean Technology of the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRLTB-BRIN) online (16/1). FMIPA UNEJ led by the Dean Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. accompanied by vice deans and lecturer representatives involved in the collaboration. From PRLTB BRIN, the Research Team Coordinator Dr. Hanies Ambarsari, BSc., M. ApplSc. along with staff and the BRIN Legal and Cooperation Bureau Team.

One of the aims of the collaboration is to increase scientific insight and experience for students in various scientific activities. “In the field of service research, through this collaboration collaborative research and development of science and technology can be produced which focuses on solving various problems, especially in the fields of MIPA, Environment and Clean Technology,” said the Dean of FMIPA. Faculty of Engineering UPN Veteran Jawa Timur Comparative Study to Faculty of MIPA UNEJ

Faculty of Engineering UPN Veteran Jawa Timur conducted a comparative study and assessment of collaboration with FMIPA UNEJ (24/11). The delegation was led by Dr. Minto Waluyo, M.M. Vice Dean III accompanied by Head of Physics Study Program, FT UPN. “Our presence is for comparative studies and exploring cooperation in improving lecturer performance in order to achieve IKU,” said Minto. Furthermore, a more specific visit was made to the Physics Study Program FMIPA. “FT UPN Veteran has just opened a Physics study program, so we need a lot of discussions with FMIPA Physics,” he continued.

To note, the Physics study program at Faculty of Engineering UPN Veteran just opened in the 2022/2023 academic year. So that it is necessary to establish cooperation with the Physics Study Program FMIPA which will be contained in the agreement material. FMIPA UNEJ as the host was represented by Vice Dean I Drs. FMIPA UNEJ Cooperation Agreement with Badan Pusat Statistik of Jember Regency

In an effort to increase the competence of higher education graduates through MBKM Internship Program, FMIPA University of Jember entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Jember Regency in the Meeting Room of FMIPA Dean (14/1). “This PKS aims to harmonize the joint program of activities in an effort to improve the knowledge, skills and competencies of FMIPA students at the University of Jember in Internship activities/student work practices, especially MBKM in the BPS district of Jember” Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. It was further stated that the beginning of this collaboration was from the visit of Head of the Mathematics Department, Dr. Kiswara Agung Santoso, S.Si., M.Kom. to BPS’s office. “Following up on the visit of the Head of the Mathematics Department, we have prepared a cooperation agreement to establish collaboration between FMIPA and BPS Jember,” he said. On that occasion, Ir. Arif Joko Sutejo, MM. The Head of BPS gave appreciation to FMIPA who immediately followed up on the BPS cooperation offer. “BPS wants to collaborate with academics, as well as to introduce statistical literacy to the wider community. BPS is also concerned with developing sectoral statistics in order to improve statistical quality through coaching and with FMIPA one of them,” explained Arif. It was also conveyed the desire of BPS Jember Regency to establish a Statistical Corner within the University with the aim of conveying all information on statistics, especially BPS.
