Physics Master Study Program, FMIPA University of Jember Achieves UNGGUL Accreditation Predicate from LAMSAMA

Good news is here again for the FMIPA academic community at Jember University. Physics Master Study Program, FMIPA University of Jember  achieved UNGGUL accreditation. Contained in the decision of the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) Number 022/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/M/IV/2024 dated April 1, 2024. The achievement of this superior accreditation is very encouraging for the Physics Masters Study Program and also for all residents of FMIPA UNEJ. This is because some time ago the Biology Masters Study Program FMIPA also achieved UNGGUL accreditation, so there are already 4 study programs at the FMIPA University of Jember that have successfully achieved accreditation with a UNGGUL rating from LAMSAMA..

The success of the Physics Master’s Study Program is an effort made by all parties. The Physics Master’s Study Program, through its accreditation team, prepares forms, supported by lecturers, students, alumni, and other stakeholders working together to achieve the title of UNGGUL accreditation. Jember University leadership also plays a role and supports the LAMSAMA accreditation process, which is carried out by all work units within UNEJ. LAMSAMA Accreditation Field Assessment of Master of Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jember University

The Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) team held a field assessment of the accreditation of the FMIPA UNEJ Physics Master’s Study Program. Vice Chancellor I University of Jember Prof. Drs. Slamin, M.Comp.Sc., Ph.D., together with Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achamd Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., accompany the assessor team at the opening of the field assessment (22/02). The assessor team consists of Prof. Dr. Mitrayana, S.Si., MSi., from Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta and Prof. Drs. Triyanta, M.S., Ph.D., from Institut Teknologi Bandung.

Vice Chancellor UNEJ Prof. Slamin delivered a presentation on the University of Jember Profile. In his presentation, the vision and mission, faculty, postgraduate studies, study programs, teaching staff, educational staff, and active students at UNEJ were presented, as well as UNEJ’s achievements and the direction of UNEJ’s development from 2004 to 2028. “In recent years, the accreditation of study programs with superior achievements at UNEJ has increased, in line with several achievements at national and international levels,” he explained. FMIPA UNEJ Biology Master’s Study Program achieved the UNGGUL Accreditation Predicate from LAMSAMA

FMIPA UNEJ Biology Master’s Study Program achieved UNGGUL accreditation. It is stated in the decision of the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) Number 140/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/M/XII/2023 dated December 28, 2023. This achievement of UNGGUL accreditation is very encouraging for the Biology Masters Study Program and also for the entire FMIPA academic community. “All of us FMIPA UNEJ residents are very grateful for this achievement; hard work produced the best results at the end of 2023,” said the Dean of FMIPA, Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. The Dean also added that by the end of this year, there had been three study programs at FMIPA that had succeeded in achieving UNGGUL accreditation from LAMSAMA.

The success of the FMIPA Biology Masters Study Program is an effort made by all parties. The Biology Masters Study Program, through its accreditation team, prepares forms, supported by lecturers, students, alumni, and stakeholders working together to achieve the title of Superior Accreditation. The Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA) team held a field assessment of the accreditation of the UNEJ FMIPA Biology Masters Study Program. Deputy Chancellor I University of Jember Prof. Drs. Slamin, M.Comp.Sc., Ph.D., together with the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achamd Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., accompany the assessor team at the opening of the field assessment (18/12). The assessor team consists of Prof. Dr. Bambang Heru Budianto, M.S., from Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto, and Prof. Dr. Sri Puji Wahyuningsih, M.Si., from Airlangga University Surabaya..

Vice Chancellor I UNEJ Prof. Slamin delivered a presentation regarding the profile of Jember University. In his presentation, the vision and mission, number of faculties and postgraduates, study programs, teaching staff, education, and students active at UNEJ, UNEJ’s achievements, and the direction of UNEJ’s development from 2004 to 2028 were presented. “In recent years, the accreditation of study programs with superior achievements at UNEJ has increased, in line with several achievements at the national level,” he explained. Preparing to Achieve Unggul Accreditation from LAMSAMA, FST UNDANA Chemistry Study Program Comparative Study to FMIPA UNEJ Chemistry Study Program

The Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jember University received a comparative study visit from the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Nusa Cendana University, Kupang (26/10). The aim of the visit was to obtain information on the LAMSAMA Study Program accreditation. “We came to learn how to achieve superior accreditation because currently our study program is in the process of preparing to apply for re-accreditation in June 2024,” said Prof. Dr. Febri Odel Nitbai, S.Si., M.Si., as Coordinator of the UNDANA FST Chemistry Study Program. Prof. Febri hopes that the FMIPA Chemistry Study Program can transmit and provide the information needed to become a Superior Accredited Study Program.

The team from UNDANA was received by the Dean of FMIPA at UNEJ, Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., who is also a lecturer in the Chemistry Study Program. Accompanied by Deputy Dean I FMIPA Drs. Siswoyo, M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of Chemistry Study Program, Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Istri Ratnadewi, S.Si., M.Si., warmly welcomed the arrival of the team to share accreditation information with each other. “Welcome! We present the complete formation of the FMIPA Chemistry Accreditation Team, which has successfully achieved superior accreditation. FMIPA Biology Masters Study Program Prepares LAMSAMA Accreditation Forms and National Standards

The Biology Masters Study Program FMIPA UNEJ held a FGD for Preparation of Accreditation Forms (LKPS and LED) for the LAMSAMA-Based National Standard Biology Masters Study Program (SN-Dikti) at Kalibaru Cottages Banyuwangi (28-30/7). The agenda includes the presentation of speakers related to LAMSAMA accreditation as well as discussing the preparation and filling out of the LKPS and LEDPS documents. “Hopefully in the next few days we can produce the best with the formation of a task force for compiling accreditation documents,” said Dr. Asmoro Lelono as Coordinator of the Biology Masters Study Program FMIPA on the sidelines of the FGD.

Present at the FGD Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. who delivered a presentation on the Strategic Plan and Business Plan of FMIPA University of Jember. “By seeing the enthusiasm of the task force team, hopefully the wish of the Biology Masters Study Program to achieve superior accreditation from LAMSAMA can be achieved, moreover there is an injection of news that the Bachelor of Biology Study Program has been accredited internationally by ASIIN in June 2023, Congratulations and success for the team,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ.
